Authorities say a body was discovered Sunday evening near where a fisherman disappeared Friday Night.43 year old Chris Harris was fishing with two relatives near an oil rig in Mobile bay when their boat sank.
According to the Coast Guard, the two relatives were wearing life jackets and managed to make it safely to shore.
The survivor say they last saw Harris clinging to an ice chest in the choppy bay waters.
The Baldwin County Coroner will perform an autopsy to determine if the body discovered Sunday is Harris.
Earlier Sunday, Alabama Marine Police, Daphne Search and Rescue and South Baldwin Search and Rescued combed the waters of south Mobile Bay, looking for Harris.
Side scanning sonar and cadaver dogs were used without success.
