GRAND BAY, Alabama - A missing man's body was pulled from a shallow grave Wednesday morning. The gruesome discovery was made off McCovery Road Extension in the Dawes Community of South Mobile County. The Mobile County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as Ervin Foster. They say he was shot to death. Investigators believe Rufus Hardy pulled the trigger. Sheriff Sam Cochran says Hardy is still on the run, "we believe that the suspect murdered Mr. Foster at another location, carried his body to this location and dug a grave and buried him, partially buried him in about a 2 foot shallow grave," said Cochran. The Sheriff's Office says if you see Hardy, do not approach him. He's considered armed and dangerous. Instead, call the Mobile County Sheriff's Office at (251) 574-8633.
