Blind Boys of Alabama Basking In Grammy Glow

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Blind Boys of Alabama took home a Grammy
Award last (Sunday) night.
The acclaimed group of gospel singers won for Traditional Gospel
Album: "Down in New Orleans."
Members said they wanted their music lift up the city after
Hurricane Katrina.
Kirk Franklin won two Grammy Awards -- for Best Gospel Song and
Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album.
The Grammy for Best Gospel Performance went to the sister duo
Mary Mary.
Grammy awards in other Gospel categories were won by CeCe Winans
(see see WY'-nuns) and the Gaither Vocal Band.
