The Tanger Outlet Mall opened at midnight for the Black Friday shopping frenzy!
"They were waiting at the door to get in and the first two hours there were actually lines three hours all the way to the back of the store," says Nike Outlet manager Tom Sweeting.
"We expect more than 125-thousand people through here this weekend so that's more than we had last year," says Tanger General Manager Jackie Sewell.
This young shopper had a productive day. Julian Claire was able to give Santa her wish list and buy a few Christmas presents.
"Black Friday, there's a lot of shoppers here and it's pretty cool that you get a bunch of discounts at a bunch of stores here," says Julian.
But as the day wore on, all the sale signs, shopping bags and bargain hunters got to be a little too much for some people, including myself. I was ready to take a break and I found a fellow Black Friday hater to spend a little time with.
