The City of Mobile will hold its annual 4th of July celebration at Battleship Park this weekend.
Before you stock up on fireworks, remember safety comes first.
People are already buying fireworks at Joe's in Theodore.
The store clerk says you have to be at least 16 years old to buy them.
Children under 10 years old should only use fireworks under supervision.
Small fireworks like 'sparklers' or 'pop-pops' are safer and more suitable for kids.
Remember the use of fireworks within city limits is illegal. However, they are permitted for use out in the county.
