Tourists were checking out the sites and enjoying a collection of more than 20 Mobile County Sheriff's Office vehicles that span the decades. Families also came from far away to check out American history on this July 4th.

“We wanted to show our grandkids what when on during world war two and some of the wars we fought here in Vietnam so they have an appreciation of the history of this country,” says John Martin, who’s visiting from Atlanta. Others were at Battleship Park today to get a good spot for tonight's fireworks display.
