Bank Robber Busted

Alabama Mobile Police say woman threatened to harm the teller. Minutes after the robbery police had her in custody along with the getaway car and the cash.

Mobile police arrested a woman Tuesday afternoon for robbing the Compass Bank at 5399 Highway 90.

Police say Natasha Reives walked into the bank just after 12 Noon, handed the teller a note demanding money. It also said she would harm the teller if she did not get what she wanted. After getting the cash, Reives took off in a 2001 Chevy Tahoe.

Minutes after the robbery, police stopped the Tahoe near Dauphin Island parkway and I-10. They arrested Reives on robbery charges. Police are recovered the money she's accused of stealing from the bank.
