Help is on the way for job-seekers along the Gulf Coast. A job fair will be held Thursday April 9th at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale. Representatives with more than 20 companies will be accepting resumes. On-site interviews, seminars on how to write a good resume and how to have a successful job interview will also be featured.

"The thing for job seekers to remember when coming to the job fair is to have an updated resume, dress professionally and be polite," says Darrelyn Bender with the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Cade Gilmartin hopes to land a job. The Silverhill man has worked part-time recently, but says he's looking for a career with benefits.

"I'm staying with friends right now," says Gilmartin who has polished and updated his resume this week. "There are lots of part-time jobs out there, but I need something full-time with benefits in today's environment."

The job fair is sponsored by the Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance and by several area chambers of commerce. The job fair will run from 10:30am until 4pm on Thursday.
