Sheriff's deputies say a man loaded a revolver with rat shot, confronted the Vinson's and pulled the trigger. Investigators say the Vinson's were tracking a deer behind their home and could have possibly made the neighbor angry because they were hunting on his property.
"My daddy jumped out and said what the hell are you doing? Before he could do anything, he shot him two times and made us get on the ground," says Vinson.
Deputies arrested Robert Pickle and charged him with 2nd degree assault. The shooting victim, Randy Vinson, was transported to USA Medical Center in Mobile. Vinson's gunshot wound is not life-threatening.
