70 years after graduating, the class of 1939 returned to their high school campus Wednesday. And, as you might imagine, it was a very special reunion for the former Murphy High School students. Just like they did in the 30's, the classmates got to enjoy a school lunch and catch up. There's no question this generation has survived and learned a lot along the way. We could all learn a lot from them, especially up and coming Murphy students, "I would say to them be happy, healthy, and successful. But, keep your head darlings, keep your head, God bless and God Speed," said 1939 classmate, Grace Bodiford Harris. We're told there were 632 students in Murphy's class of '39. Close to 50 of those students made it back to the school for their reunion.
