RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A Russellville teen has been chargedwith sodomy for abusing a girl he had been hired to baby sit.
Franklin County District Attorney Joey Rushing said 19-year-old
Jeffrey Lovelace faces two counts of first-degree sodomy, a Class A felony.
The indictment was issued Jan. 5.
Lovelace is accused of forcing a child under 10 to engage in a
sex act in Feb. 2005.
The allegations surfaced in June 2008 when the child's parents
informed police.
Lovelace posted a $10,000 bond and was released from jail.
