AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Gene Chizik is looking for afew good offensive linemen and wide receivers and one great
quarterback.
That's what Chizik said Friday are his top remaining recruiting
priorities for the Tigers. He hosts his first weekend of official
visits from prospects this weekend.
Chizik also has at least three more players who reportedly are
leaving the team. Junior linebacker Tray Blackmon is expected to
sign a contract to play in the Canadian Football League.
Receiver Chris Slaughter is also not enrolled in school for the
spring semester. Defensive back Ryan Williams has enrolled at a
Mississippi junior college.
Asked about those players and defensive end Raven Gray, Chizik
did not shut the door on them possibly returning.
