The Auburn University Marching Band is one of 7 college bands selected by ESPN and Paramount Pictures for a Battle of the Bands.

Each school was asked to create a video of their band performing the theme music to Indiana Jones & The Quest For The Crystal.

The videos were then posted online for fans to vote for their favorite. The winning band receives $25,000.

The other schools in the competition are USC, Texas, LSU, Georgia, Florida, and Clemson.

Friday is the last day of voting. Click here to watch the videos and cast your vote.

I’m biased here, but LSU has one of the best playing bands around.  Every member is on scholarship and has to tryout, no walk-ons.  If you listen to each band I think you can tell LSU sounds more like a symphony than a marching band.  The arrangement Auburn used wasn’t particularly great although they sounded good.  Florida and Georgia are pretty good too.
