AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn's search for a football coach continues with more interviews reportedly set.

Auburn athletic director Jay Jacobs is expected to interview candidates with at least some Southeastern Conference experience at unspecified locations Thursday, according to The Birmingham News.

Jacobs reportedly interviewed at least four coaches during a trip to New York for the annual National Football Foundation Hall of Fame festivities. He interviewed former Auburn players Patrick Nix (Miami offensive coordinator) and Rodney Garner (Georgia assistant) before making the trip.

Two coaches who have met with Jacobs will face each other in the GMAC Bowl next month in Mobile. They are Ball State's Brady Hoke and Tulsa's Todd Graham. (Click play to hear what Graham and Hoke told News 5 on Wednesday).

Buffalo's Turner Gill and Louisiana Tech's Derek Dooley have also interviewed for the job.

Auburn is seeking a replacement following the resignation of Tommy Tuberville.
