Just minutes ago I opened a private/scathing mail from Mr. Knowsbetter.  This is how it opens   “your ignorance of the legal system is embarassing.”

Now my only comment on this article states that until Mr Baxley is proven guilty he should be presumed innocent and accorded all rights.

That is an accepted legal principal! 
So Mr. Knowsbetter, blow it out your (*^&*%.

The attorney showed up and bailed out and is back in Mobile.

Did the guy ever show up in Texas, or did he just disappear to another town and hang up a new shingle outside his new office?

does anyone remember the catholic priest scandal?
victims wait years to outcry against such abuse. out of shame or some family members don’t believe or don’t believe it was that bad.  Then it takes a huge amount of time and resources to follow-up and get chargess throught the system.  For all “testifying” for his character, why don’t you have him babysit your child for a week?

Three days after Kent’s arrest and after reading the comments I felt a need to let people know that this man is a man of great integrity.  I hope the allegations are not true.  He who is without sin should cast the first stone.  Justice should prevail. 

I grew up with Kent and was actively involved with him in church and school.  Kent had very little in material wealth growing up.  He worked hard to earn scholarships, graduated from Alabama with honors, and was a graduate of the University of Alabama Law School.  Kent was my college roommate my first two years at Alabama.  When he wasn’t in class he was either studying or at the Baptist Student Union. 

I pray that he is not guilty and that his good character and reputation will not be harmed.

Nah, all the details of the search were sealed.  He said nothing and Tyson kind of beat around the bush.  Tyson gave the impression that he didn’t like what he saw, but he tried to act neutral.

Makes me wonder if some wheeling and dealing is going on behind the scenes.  They tend to do that for one another.

that guy never made a press statement did he bob?

I do wonder what has become of the Giardini case.  Was the guy’s life ruined for nothing?  Are charges forthcoming?  Will we not hear any more about him for a couple of years until some judge won’t let him practice law in his courtroom?

I maybe wrong but aren’t witnesses (isn’t the alleged victim a witness????) important in a case????

I’m pretty sure a Judge or a Majestrate would not have issued the warrant without taking testimony from the alleged victim and parents of the alleged victim.
