Polar Bears took over Perdido Key Florida on New Year's Day.
But they weren't the animal kind..
The temperature in the gulf was 62.
But that didn't stop some folks from taking a dip..

I don’t think the water temp of the Georgian Bay here ever exceeds 58° F, even in the summer and these folks swim in it all day. I tried to get in it, on the hottest day this past year, I quickly remembered it was NOT the Gulf Of Mexico!

That’s too funny. Visiting my grandparent and going to swim in Lake Michigan, the water was 50 degrees. Heck Race Point on Cape Cod, they consider 62 degrees warm. WhOoooosies
