An alligator was captured at Langan Park in Mobile Friday evening.
It was about seven feet long. The alligator was in the water where all of the ducks swim.
A girl saw the alligator and called her mother.
Alligator wrangler Gary Casper was called out to catch it.
He used chicken to catch the alligator.
Once he got him to shore, he taped the mouth shut.
Mr. Casper says this was the third time someone spotted this alligator at Langan Park.

Wait… HOW did it get in the lake in the first place?

thank you for your reply   but i still think they should make it public what happened to this aligator

thanks

Most of those caught live are sold to farms, the ones that are destroyed are sold for meat, and for the hides, bones, etc. !

how can we find out what was done with aligator   dog river is full of them why couldnt they take it there   that would be wrong to destroy it

I think if they are over 6 feet they are destroyed,I’m not sure if it was 6 feet or 8 feet ,others are relocated.

what did he do with the aligator after he caught it

Were they supposed to wait until the gator ate a kid to get it out of the park? Then the parents could clean house on the city for failing to act and remove the gator before something terrible happened.

Let’s be reasonable now. Alligaters rarely “attack” humans, and no humans are allowed in that lake. He was in natural habitat, and not being aggressive to any humans or pets. They should have left him alone. Period.

That Gary Casper will look for any excuse he can to “get rid” of these gators, epically when the State of Alabama lets him pocket all the profits he makes off of the gators. While i do agree with the removal of some nuisance animals endangering children and pets. All too many times, he traps these animals for nothing more than being within human sight, for his own personal profit.

So now we’re going after gaters that are not bothering anyone, what are we gonna do next. I know let’s get those arrogant seagulls, Don’t forget those nice pelicans who eat our fish, maybe we should get all the buzzards that clean up all the dead things, Hey, Lets get those fish that leave barnacles for us to cut our feet and hands on.  A bounty on foxes, and don’t forget the owls the eat our squirrels, may as well get the squirrels, that eat our bird food. NO wonder our world is in the shape it is.
