An Air Force Staff Sergeant charged in the calculated murders of a panhandle couple will stay behind bars.Donald Stallworth, 28, faced a Florida judge for the first time since he was extradited from Brewton. He appeared in court via video-conference.
Stallworth is one of seven men accused of dressing like a ninja, rushing into a Beulah, Florida home and killing Byrd and Melanie Billings, a couple known for adopting special needs children.
Stallworth, who surrendered to Alabama authorities in his hometown July 14, was being held on a million dollar bond for each count of murder and another million dollars for the home invasion charge. Circuit Judge Joyce Williams revoked the bond, saying she believes he was a flight risk.
