MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Gas prices are soaring across Alabama asthe summer driving season approaches.
AAA Alabama said the price of regular fuel climbed 24 cents over
the past four weeks.
The auto club's Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed regular averaged
$2.20 a gallon Monday.
Midgrade was $2.36 while premium fuel cost $2.43.
The national price for regular is $2.31 a gallon.
AAA said Tuscaloosa had the lowest price for regular at $2.18 a
gallon. The highest was in Mobile at $2.22.
