If you weren't at the Strawberry Festival, then the next best place to be was the beach. It was bright and sunny in Gulf Shores today. High winds did bring out the red caution flags for rough surf. Hundreds of people packed the sands to sun bathe, people watch or play a game a volley ball. All in all, it was a good day to be outside.

“We came from the strawberry festival to here today, just walking, looking around, enjoying the sunlight and pretty beach,” says busy beachgoer Pam Smith. Traffic was heavy on Highway 59 southbound all day. Finding a parking spot once you got there was also a bit of a challenge.

A beach story without a bikini just ain’t a beach story!

chads one of these new reporters who doesnt get a camera crew everytime he does a story, so he probably shot the video. not as good of a camera as the production guys use and he;s probably a little tamer than the old school news camera crews.

Well, there weren’t any bikinis in that video!
