Honestly, I know amen had nothing to do with this, Growin up with him i know how his heart is, and they know he didn’t do the murder and I know he wouldnt even plan it. Hes the only teen not charged with the murder and i know he wouldnt have done anything to help at all. all of our family have the same hearts, and helping commit a murder is not in us, I LOVE YOU AMEN WELLOCK!

I have learened that these kids are not tellinfg the truth to law enforcement. So many stories are being told. I don’t know if we will ever be told the truth and who really is involved. Ian swears that Amen did not have ant knowledge of the crime until it was over with. What proof do they really have? I certainly hope it is more than just the word of the one that has already admitted to being apart of the crime. There has just got to be more than the word of a murder. I need to know just how much Amen was involved. Not just on the word of a murdere that is mad because she thinks Amen ratted her out.

I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT MY OWN SON DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH DANNY WEAVER. WE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE GANG RELATIONS. BUT I AM LEARNING THE HARD WAY. I PRAY FOR THESE KIDS.I CANNOT EVEN IMAGINE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS GOING THRU THEIR MINDS. DRUGS PLAYED A SIGNIFICANT ROLL IN THIS HORRIFIC CRIME. I HOPE THE PUBLIC DOES NOT BLAME US TO HARSHLY. I understand how the family’s may feel about what their young children have done. My question is to “Friend”...you stated in one of your posts “i wish yall people would mind your own buissness amen was my cousin and my best friend” and in another post you stated “I am Amon’s aunt.” I am a little confused. Which is it; cousin or aunt? Never the less, if he knew anything about this crime whether it was planned, a joke or a scare, wrong is wrong. Those who were involved will answer for this. He will be charged with with-holding information and conspiracy to commit a felony. That’s the way it is…!!

I honestly don’t believe Amen had a thing to do with this… I’m sure he would have never thought in a million years that his “so called friends” were serious. Hang in there, Amen… Hopefully the truth will come out!

My parents always told me you are who you hang out with. And it is true, I never understood it until I got older. Although I don’t know all the circumstances but maybe this will be a lesson to all to be careful who you call your friends. If he knew about the plot to kill a man and then didn’t come forward after he was killed to tell police then in most cases he is guilty by association. Kind of like if Casey Anthony’s parents knew that Caylee was dead and knew Casey did it they would be just as guilty. I pray this young man was not involved and I pray he knew nothing about it. But again, this is why we should be very careful with friend choices. Teenagers all think they are invincable. My thoughts and prayers are with all families involved especially the children of Bob because they lost a father but also were betrayed by their brother. I pray he finds the Lord because I know Bob would have died for his son to find the Holy Spirit.

Friend:  Very well said.  We as parents MUST be more involved in our children’s lives and I know that is sometimes easier said than done.  I also acknowledge that even though as parents we may teach our kids right from wrong and do everything possible to keep them on the right path sometimes peer pressure, the devil or whatever you wish to call it comes in and leads our kids astray.  It is a shame that our society has come to the point that it has with drugs and parents not being able to punish their children.  I am so afraid that if things do not change and change soon we are going to see more and more of our children committing violent crimes and end up spending the majority of their lives behind bars.

I will say a prayer for all involved, parents, siblings, extended family and those charged with these horrible crimes.  And maybe these kids will get some counseling and direction to get them back on the right track and have a chance at a life at some point before their demise.

As a christian I believe that the answer will be given from god on this tragic crime. God will be the ultimate judge. You folks living high and mighty may tyake the time to pray for each family involved. God only knows what realy happemed.These kids will have to live with the reality that they took another mans life, they were high on drugs, which absolutely gives no excuse. But as an american, we need to ssek answers and nt through the first stone. the constitution of the ustates says you are innocent until proven quilty.Do not play jury and condemn these kids to death until all the facts are made presentable. that is why we have a judicial system. regardless if it is right or wrong, as amaericans that is what we have accepted. I am Amon’s aunt. I will accept any punishment he has coming for him, but he did not murder Bob Aitchenson. and we will not have a final answer until the jury makes a decision. All I request is as a parent know who your children associate with .God bless u all.

I guess we were fooled by these kids. It very well could have been any one’s son. We sure did not see this coming. Amen had just started taking GED classes. His parents were trying to raise three kids to the best of their ability. What about Columbine? In all honesty. How well do we really know our children. We work everyday and try to pay all bills. We are lower classed people, just trying to make a living. But people want to judge us parents for the wrong doing of our kids. Amen may have known about the plan to kill bob but he did not believe that the kids would ever seriosly go through with it. If he is such a LEADER of this so called gang, WHERE WAS HE???
