The Washington County Sheriff's Office says three children between the ages of 8 and 12 died early this morning in a house fire.
The fire broke out around 3 o'clock on John Johnston Road in the Charity Chapel community near the Mobile County/Washington County line. The parents and one other child were able to escape. The children who died were asleep upstairs.
Fire crews from Citronelle, Charity Chapel and McIntosh were among those fighting the fire.
