A little boy got caught in the middle of a grown up crime spree Wednesday morning. Shortly after 10:30 AM, Mobile Police say Lamarcus Horn and Keinan Howard robbed the Wachovia Bank on Government Boulevard.
After the heist, police say the two men barricaded themselves inside Horn's home. It just so happened that Horn's son Jamarqis was visiting and got caught in the middle. After a brief stand off, police were able to get Jamarqis and the men out without anyone getting hurt.
Jaleesa Witherspoon says her son is scared of guns. "He was shook up about it because the police had the guns and he's terrified of guns."
Police did set off what's called a "diversionary explosive device" after Jamarqis was out to get the last man to surrender. A third man was taken into custody but later released and not charged.
Horn and Howard are both in Mobile Metro Jail charged with robbery.
