2-Year Old Boy Run Over By SUV

A tragic story coming out of Bay Minette after the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office says a 2-year old boy is accidentally run over by his mother's SUV.

It happened at Little's Trailer Park on Crosby Road Friday afternoon. Major Anthony Lowery says the mother was washing her 97 Chevy Blazer while the toddler was playing in the front yard. The mother went to move the vehicle out of the driveway and that's when she accidentally struck the small boy.

The family rushed the boy to North Baldwin Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
