Mobile Police are investigating a homicide after investigators say a 15-year old girl shot her teenage friend in the head. Police say the shooting happened Monday afternoon at a residence in the 1300 block of Hunter's Ridge Drive West in Mobile. When officers arrived they discovered that a 15-year old girl had shot a second 15-year old girl in the head with a .357 Magnum handgun.

The victim was transported to Providence Hospital where she later died. Investigators say a preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting was accidental and the suspect and the victim were friends. The suspect said that she was playing with the handgun and pointed it at the victim.

The 15-year old suspect has been charged with Manslaughter and is currently at Strickland Youth Center

You are still off topic.

Crazy 8.  The word you were grasping for is grammar and it should not be capitalized. I don’t have any problems understanding the English language.

If you have ever read a book or a newspaper, you might appreciate a well-written article or story with actual punctuation.

I did have a problem understanding “ladyof theday” with the statement “and she knew what she know when she point a gun”

It’s sad that someone would have such a problem communicating in their native tongue.  There is help for people with dyslexia, as well as people who have problems reading and writing.

The written word has been an important part of human communication for hundreds of years.

Knowing how to write a complete sentence is not limited to rocket scientists.

If you are going to post on a television station website, you must be intelligent enough to use a computer.  If you are intelligent enough to operate a computer, why would you not want to communicate with your fellow posters in an articulate manner using proper English.

Ickthus is able to communicate with proper language and offer solid thoughts.  It is always interesting to read his comments.

Why should I expect other posters not to do the same.

Wow the Grammer police are way off topic, it must be so nice that the only troubles you 2 have in life are judging people by the way they speak—-by the way a sweet young lady is still gone from this life way too soon.
(I wouldn’t post a comment if I could not speak English any better than that.)i dont think anyone would care if you ever posted again or not—with or without your perfect speech

I disagree. There are some who have problems like dyslexia or other things that make it hard for written communication. I say proof read and use spell check. You’ll get better. There are many on this very program that have great grammar and written skill but lack in any form the ability to communicate a single thing. Spelling, grammar and skill does not make you profound but for some it does make them profane.

pbmax - I agree, sounds like someone didn’t pay attention in high school.

I wouldn’t post a comment if I could not speak English any better than that.

First of all this was a 15 year old who is old enough to know better and she knew what she know if she point a gun at someone and aim it at their head, common sense should tell you this is not safe. But she pulled the trigger and now she needs to pay. It is the same if she go in the store and get caught shoplifting now what you think the owners would do? press charges, s now what she has took a person lfe so she need to go to some kind of institution and be punish.

This suspect needs to get a good lawyer and site the Elijah Porter incident that happened a few days later.

No charges were filed in that case.

FIGHT IT.

Night Owl, I agree. If you choose to own a gun & keep it in your home, it is your responsibility to teach your kids about gun safety. My dad was a firm believer in gun safety.

Mini…you are corect in that this incident is going to affect the child and their families.

It is hard for one to imagine the horror that they must be going through right now.

I say to all on the forum, let’s pray for the families, and that this doesn’t happen again.
