We have an update to this story. A nursing supervisor with USA Medical Center says the teenager has died of his injuries. Privacy rules prevent the hospital from saying exactly when the teenager, Nubian James, died. Mobile police investigated the shooting of 14 year old Nubian James in Mobile near Maysville Wednesday night. They say the teenager was shot once in the head at a house in the 2000 block of Woodlawn Drive South at Garden Park Estates. Police answered the call of one person shot at approximately 6:01 pm. He was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center by Mobile Fire/Rescue Units. Homicide investigators are conducting the investigation.

THANKS MRS. JAMES FOR SAVING OTHER PEOPLES LIVES DURING YOUR GRIEVING TIME. NUBIAN IS A TRUE HERO. MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU AND YOUR SON.

Crazy, I think the moms and dads who think of others when they are themselves in the middle of tremendous grief are the real heroes.

Thank you.

my heart goes out to the james family,it was so wonderful that nubian donated his organs.my son(16 yrs young) was able to donate his eyes when we lost him in 2007.he helped two other people, nubian and my son are truly hero’s,everyone should donate their organs if possible when their time comes.i know that some one is looking at the beauty the world has to offer, because of unselfish, caring people like these two fine young men.they will be sorely missed.
