Neil Wade heads Alabama's Development Office or you might want to call him Alabama's Salesman. His job is to get businesses to build in the state. A Monroe County native, he knows the area very well. We'll show you how he helped land one of the biggest economic development projects in history. We'll also show you what makes this area so attractive to prospective companies.

If you want to get an idea of just how ThyssenKrupp will impact an area, perhaps you should look to the central Alabama. The last really big business to open in Alabama was Hyundai. Take a look at the change in the small town, and you might get a taste of the changes that are headed to North Mobile County.
